What is Shipton Bellinger?
Shipton Bellinger is a village on the Hampshire/ Wiltshire borders, in England, about 7 miles from the Stonehenge World Heritage site. We are close to the small towns of Tidworth and Amesbury, and are on the edge of Salisbury Plain. Our location within Hampshire is roughly indicated on the map extract above (click on it for finer detail).

Shipton Good Neighbours (SGN) The Shipton Good Neighbours scheme became active on Weds 18th April 2007. Volunteers can provide help to residents in the parish of Shipton Bellinger for a variety of tasks.
Footpaths The Shipton Bellinger Footpaths map on-line for down-load. We've also provided links to the Hampshire CC master maps of footpaths for the area.
Environment Agency Teardrop Though work has been done and the river is flowing nicely once more, the Environment Agency Floodline is 0845 988 1188 (just in case). The Test Valley Website also maintains flood alerts and details and have a simple Leaflet outlining self-help (issued Nov 2001).
